Hi — I’m Arpita.

I build AI systems that work in the real world. My work has spanned production ML at Google, biomedical foundation models and clinical AI at Tempus and the challenges of building research and engineering organizations.

This site is my working collection of technical notes, reproducible experiments and lessons from taking AI systems from research to production. I write for myself and for others working through similar questions.

I'm particularly interested in foundation models, inference, agent systems, evaluation and AI in biology. I'm using the AI scientist lab to explore these topics through code alongside the writing here.
